GS Black-Tech / CLIENT INFORMATION

Privacy policy

How we use customer information.

Updated 31 October 2026

Who is responsible

The business identified on our Business & services page is responsible for customer information collected through this website. Direct privacy requests to support@gsblacktech.info.

Information we collect

We collect contact and account details such as name, email, phone, address, city, province and postal code; company information if supplied; booking and device details; service communications; orders, invoices and payment references. Optional birthday information is limited to month and day. The site also uses session information and server/security logs.

Why we use it

We use information to create and confirm accounts, quote and provide services, arrange delivery, process orders and payments, communicate about your work, prevent misuse and meet recordkeeping obligations. Account/service acknowledgement is not consent to unrelated marketing. Any marketing requires an appropriate lawful basis and an opt-out.

Payments and service providers

Online card payments are handled by the payment provider presented at checkout, such as Paystack when enabled. Do not send card credentials to our support inbox. We keep payment references and transaction status rather than full card details. Hosting, email, payment and delivery providers receive information needed to perform their role. Their own privacy terms also apply. Provider processing may involve other countries; applicable safeguards must be considered.

Access and security

Access is limited according to account roles and business need. Passwords are stored as hashes. Staff should use customer data only for authorised work. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected unauthorised access to support@gsblacktech.info.

Cookies

Essential session cookies support sign-in and account security. Blocking them can prevent portal access. If optional analytics or advertising tools are introduced, the relevant notice and controls must be provided where required.

Retention and your rights

We retain information for the service relationship and legitimate accounting, security, dispute and legal needs, then delete or anonymise it when appropriate. You may request access, correction or deletion and raise objections or withdraw consent where applicable. Legal retention obligations may limit deletion. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
